The sacred ritual of Pushpayagam
will be performed at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati, as a
divine act of atonement following the annual Brahmotsavams (held from
March 17–25, 2026). This floral offering ceremony symbolizes purification,
devotion, and universal welfare.
Ritual Schedule
April 22 – Ankurarpanam
- Time:
6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- Significance:
Seed‑sowing ritual marking the commencement of Pushpayagam.
April 23 – Pushpayagam
Day
- Snapana Tirumanjanam (11:00 AM –
12:30 PM)
- Ritual bathing of Lord Kodandarama
Swamy and Goddess Sita with sacred substances.
- Abhishekam with Flowers (4:00 PM –
6:00 PM)
- Lord Kodandarama Swamy, along with
Sita and Lakshmana, will be adorned and worshipped with a variety of
fragrant flowers.
- Procession (7:00 PM onwards)
- The divine trio will bless devotees
during a grand procession along the four Mada streets surrounding
the temple.
