Sri Vengamamba Perantalu Temple Tirunala 2026 – Festival Dates, Rituals, Travel Guide



Sri Vengamamba Perantalu Temple, located in Narrawada village, is more than 300 years old. Every year, in June and July, devotees gather to celebrate a grand festival called Sri Vengamamba Tirunala. Goddess Sri Vengamamba is believed to fulfill the wishes of her devotees, making this temple a sacred and special place.

July 05: Nilupu (Beginning of the festival).

July 06 & 07: Rathotsavam (Chariot procession).

July 08: Morning - Kalyanotsavam (Marriage ceremony), Night - Kumkuma Ustavam and Pradanotsavam.

July 09: Bandla Pongalu (Special offerings).

July 16: First Thursday celebrations.

July 23: Ammavari 16-day Festival (Padaharu Rojula Panduga).

July 30, August 06 & 13: Rituals on Thursdays, with Nela Pongalu marking the grand conclusion.

By Road:

The temple is about 23 km from Pamuru. You can take a bus or hire a taxi from Pamuru to Narrawada.

It is also 5 km from Duttalur Mandal Headquarters, 18 km from Udayagiri, and 25 km from Vinjamoor.

By Train:

The nearest major railway station is Nellore. From Nellore, you can hire a taxi or take a bus to Narrawada.

By Air:

The nearest airport is Tirupati Airport, which is approximately 200 km away. From there, you can travel by road to reach the temple.
