The Teppotsavams
(Float Festival) of Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Devuni
Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, will be celebrated with grandeur from April 29
to May 1, 2026. This annual festival is a vibrant blend of devotion,
tradition, and cultural programs, drawing devotees from across the region.
Festival Schedule
April 29
- Sri Krishna with Goda Devi
– 3 rounds on the temple pushkarini (sacred tank).
April 30
- Sri Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi
and Bhudevi – 5 rounds on the float.
May 1
- Sri Venkateswara Swamy with Sridevi
and Bhudevi – 7 rounds, marking the grand
finale.
Daily Rituals:
- Snapana Tirumanjanam (10:00 AM –
11:00 AM) – Ritual bathing of the deities.
- Tiruveedhi Utsavam (5:30 PM – 6:00
PM) – Procession around the temple streets.
- Float Festival (6:00 PM onwards)
– Deities bless devotees while riding the temple pushkarini.
Cultural Programs
During the three days, spiritual
and cultural programs will be organized under the auspices of TTD Hindu
Dharma Prachara Parishad and the Dasa Sahitya Project, enriching the
devotional atmosphere with music, dance, and discourses.

The Teppotsavams
symbolize the Lord’s divine presence amidst devotees, with the float rides on
the sacred waters representing purity, prosperity, and blessings. Each day’s
increasing rounds (3, 5, and 7) highlight the growing grandeur and devotion of
the festival.
