Sri Padmavati Srinivasa Parinayotsavam 2026

Dates: April 25 – 27, 2026
Venue: Parinayotsava Mandapam, Narayangiri Gardens, Tirumala

The Celestial Wedding of Sri Srinivasa

The annual Sri Padmavati Srinivasa Parinayotsavam is one of the most cherished festivals in Tirumala, celebrated with grandeur and devotion. This three-day divine wedding ceremony unites Sri Srinivasa with Goddess Padmavati, accompanied by Sridevi and Bhudevi, amidst Vedic chants, music, and spiritual fervor.

According to the Puranas, nearly five thousand years ago, at the dawn of Kali Yuga, Sri Maha Vishnu descended from Vaikuntha as Sri Venkateswara to bless humanity. This celestial wedding is a symbolic re-enactment of that divine union, reminding devotees of the eternal bond between the Lord and His consort.

Festival Schedule

Each day of the Parinayotsavam is marked by unique rituals and vahana sevas:

  • Day 1 (April 25): Sri Malayappa Swamy on Gaja Vahanam
  • Day 2 (April 26): Sri Malayappa Swamy on Aswa Vahanam
  • Day 3 (April 27): Sri Malayappa Swamy on Garuda Vahanam

The celebrations take place at the Parinayotsava Mandapam in Narayangiri Gardens, where thousands of devotees gather to witness the divine spectacle.

Seva Updates from TTD

To facilitate the smooth conduct of the festival, TTD has cancelled Arjita Brahmotsavam and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas on all three days. Devotees planning their visit should take note of these changes while booking darshan and seva tickets.

Spiritual Significance

The Parinayotsavam is organized annually by TTD (Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams) around Vaisakha Shuddha Dashami Tithi. It is celebrated one day before and one day after this auspicious date, symbolizing the eternal union of Lord Srinivasa and Goddess Padmavati.

For devotees, participating in this festival is believed to bring blessings of marital harmony, prosperity, and spiritual upliftment.
