Sita Navami, also
known as Sita Jayanti or Janaki Navami, will be observed on Saturday,
April 25, 2026.
It falls on the Shukla Paksha Navami (9th day of the waxing moon) in the
month of Vaishaka, under Pushya Nakshatra.
Significance
- Sita Navami marks the birth of
Goddess Sita, consort of Lord Rama and considered an incarnation of
Goddess Lakshmi.
