Chinnamasta Jayanti
is observed every year on the Chaturdashi of Shukla Paksha in Vaishakha
month. On this day, devotees worship Goddess Chinnamasta, the sixth
of the ten Mahavidyas, revered for her fierce form and boundless energy.
The Goddess
- Known as Prachanda Chandika,
Goddess Chinnamasta belongs to the Kali Kula tradition.
- She is the Shakti of Kabandha
Shiva, embodying both destruction and renewal.
- Though her worship is often
associated with Tantrics, Yogis, and Aghoris, ordinary devotees
also seek her blessings for protection against calamities and hardships.

Puja Vidhi (Rituals)
1. Brahma
Muhurat: Wake up early, meditate on the goddess.
2. Purification:
Bathe with water mixed with Ganga jal and perform achaman.
3. Dress:
Wear fresh red clothes, symbolizing Shakti.
4. Setup:
Place an idol or picture of Goddess Durga/Chinnamasta in the sacred space.
5. Offerings:
Present fruits, flowers, and sweets.
6. Aarti
& Prayers: Conclude with devotional songs and
prayers for peace and happiness.
