Introduction
The Jagannath Rath
Yatra, one of India’s most spectacular religious festivals, will be
celebrated on 16 July 2026 in Puri, Odisha. Millions of devotees
will gather to witness Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra, and Goddess Subhadra
leave the sanctum of the Jagannath Temple and travel to the Gundicha Temple
aboard towering wooden chariots.
This annual procession is
not only a deeply spiritual occasion but also a remarkable display of faith,
