Yadadri, also known as Pancha
Narasimha Kshetram, is a sacred hill shrine located in Yadagirigutta of
Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District, Telangana. Dedicated to Lord Narasimha, this
temple is one of the most revered Vaishnavite centers in South India. The
annual Narasimha Jayanti Utsavam will commence on April 26, 2026,
with a series of divine rituals and celebrations.
Festival Schedule
- April 26 – Viswakesana Puja,
Tiruvenkatapati Alankarna, Havanam, Laksha Kumkumarchana
The festivities begin with Viswakesana Puja, followed by the adornment of Lord Narasimha in Tiruvenkatapati Alankarna. A sacred havanam and Laksha Kumkumarchana add spiritual grandeur to the day. - April 27 – Kaliyamardana Alankarna,
Laksha Pushpa Archana
Lord Narasimha is decorated in Kaliyamardana Alankarna, symbolizing His victory over evil. Devotees offer Laksha Pushpa Archana, showering the deity with a hundred thousand flowers. - April 28 – Garuda Vahana Seva,
Paravasudeva Alankarna
The Lord is taken out in a majestic Garuda Vahana procession, followed by Paravasudeva Alankarna, highlighting His supreme cosmic form. - April 29 – Sri Ramaavatara Alankarna
The deity is adorned in Sri Ramaavatara Alankarna, signifying Lord Vishnu’s incarnation as Sri Rama. - April 30 – Veda Swasti, Narasimha
Jayanti
The grand culmination with Veda Swasti and the auspicious Narasimha Jayanti, celebrating the appearance of Lord Narasimha to protect His devotee Prahlada and vanquish Hiranyakashipu.
