The sacred town of Tiruchanoor,
near Tirupati, is set to witness the grandeur of the Annual Vasanthotsavams
of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru from April 30 to May 2, 2026.
Devotees from across the country are invited to participate in these divine
festivities and receive the blessings of the Goddess.
Key Highlights of the
Celebrations
Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam –
April 28
- Temple purification rituals from 6:00
AM to 9:00 AM.
- Suprabhatam followed by cleansing of
temple premises, walls, roof, and puja materials with sacred water.
- A fragrant mixture of Namakoppu,
Srichurnam, kasturi turmeric, green leaves, camphor, sandalwood powder,
kumkum, and other aromatic substances will be sprinkled throughout the
temple.
- Darshan resumes at 9:00 AM.
Note: Kalyanotsavam
and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas will remain cancelled on April 28.
Ankurarpanam – April 29
- Ritual marking the divine beginning
of the festival.
- Scheduled at 6:00 PM.
Vasanthotsavam Seva –
April 30 to May 2
- Devotees can participate in the Vasanthotsavam
Seva by paying Rs.150 per person.
- A unique opportunity to receive the
divine blessings of Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru.
Swarna Rathotsavam – May
1
- The grand Golden Chariot
procession will be held at 9:30 AM.
- A spectacular event where devotees
can witness the Goddess in all her glory.
Snapana Tirumanjanam –
April 30 to May 2
- Ritual bathing of the Utsava deities
in Shukravara Thota.
- Timings: 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Evening Processions –
April 30 to May 2
- From 7:30 PM to 8:30 PM, the
Goddess will bless devotees with her divine darshan.
- Procession through the four Mada
streets of the temple.
Note: Kalyanotsavam
and Sahasra Deepalankara Sevas will remain cancelled from April 30 to
May 2 due to the festivities.
TTD’s Request to Devotees
The Tirumala Tirupati
Devasthanams (TTD) has requested devotees to participate in large numbers
and experience the spiritual bliss of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru during
these auspicious days.
