The sacred city of Tirupati
is set to witness the Annual Utsavams of Jagadguru Sri Bhashyakara,
celebrated with devotion and grandeur at the Sri Govindarajaswamy Temple
from April 13 to 22, 2026. This revered festival honors the great
philosopher and saint Sri Ramanujacharya, known as Sri Bhashyakara,
whose teachings continue to guide millions of devotees in the path of bhakti
and righteousness.
Daily Festivities
Each day of the utsavam
begins with a majestic morning procession at 7:30 AM, where Sri
Bhashyakara is taken on the golden Tiruchi through the temple’s Chinna
Mada streets. The divine sight of the procession fills the air with chants
and devotion.
In the evening,
from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM, special festivities are held in the Pedda
Mada streets, featuring devotional music, rituals, and spiritual gatherings
that draw large crowds of devotees.

After the morning
procession, sacred rituals such as:

(holy bath ceremony)
- Sattumora
(offering ceremony)
- Asthanam
