Gangotri, and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand. Online registrations began at 7
AM on March 6, 2026, via the Tourist Care Uttarakhand mobile app and
the official government portal.
This mandatory
registration ensures crowd management, pilgrim safety, and access to lodging
and meal services facilitated by the government.

the official portal: registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in or download
the Tourist Care Uttarakhand app (Android/iOS).
2. Sign
up or log in using your mobile number.
3. Provide
personal details: name, valid ID proof, and travel dates.
4. Select
the temples/routes you plan to visit.
5. Submit
and download/save the registration confirmation (e‑pass).
Important:
Carry the e‑pass and a valid government ID throughout the pilgrimage.
Cost: Registration is free of charge. Optional services
(accommodation, transport, helicopter rides, premium darshan) may involve extra
costs.
