holidays, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has announced the cancellation
of VIP Break Darshan (except for protocol VIPs) on select dates in October
2026. This decision is aimed at facilitating quicker darshan for common
devotees.

Note:
Recommendation letters for Break Darshan will not be accepted on the preceding
days:
- Wednesday,
September 30, 2026
- Sunday,
October 4, 2026
Reason
for Cancellation
- Currently,
around 80,000 devotees are having darshan of Lord Venkateswara
every day.
- Additionally,
nearly 30,000 devotees arriving on the same day are being
accommodated for darshan on the following day.
- This has
resulted in longer waiting times for common devotees.
- To ease the
rush and allow more devotees quicker darshan, TTD has cancelled VIP Break
Darshan on the above dates.

accordingly.
