Significance

• Observed on Paush Krishna Ekadashi (11th day of Krishna Paksha in Paush month).
• Dedicated to Lord Vishnu, especially worshipped in the form of Sri Krishna.

• Mentioned in the Brahmanda Purana: even 100 Rajasuya Yagas and 1000 Ashvamedha Yagas are not equal to observing Saphala Ekadashi.
