Surya Bhagavan – The Visible God

  • Known as Pratyaksha Narayana – the only visible God in the sky.
  • Parents: Sage Kashyapa and Aditi → hence called Aditya.
  • Other names: Mitra, Ravi, Bhanu, Khaga, Pusha, Marichi, Savitha, Arka, Bhaskara.
  • Dwadasa Adityas (12 forms): Vivasvan, Aryaman, Tvashta, Savitr, Bhaga, Dhatu, Mitra, Varuna, Amsa, Pusha, Indra, Vishnu.
