Jaya Ekadashi, also known as Bhoumi Ekadashi or Bhishma Ekadashi, is observed on the 11th day (Ekadashi) of Shukla Paksha in the month of Magha. It is a sacred fasting day dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and is considered especially auspicious when it falls on a Thursday.
