  • Booking:
    • No advance online booking for NRI darshan.

Approximate Darshan Time

  • Normal Days: 1–2 hours.
  • Festival/Peak Days: 2–3 hours or more.
  • Faster compared to general darshan which can take 6–8 hours.

Practical Tips

  • Arrive Early: Morning slots are less crowded.
  • Carry Originals: Passport/OCI card must be shown at the counter and entry gate.
  • Dress Code: Traditional attire preferred (dhoti/saree). Shorts or western casuals may be denied entry.
  • Plan Around Festivals: Avoid Brahmotsavam, Vaikunta Ekadasi, or long weekends if you want shorter queues.
  • Combine with Sevas: NRIs can also book priority sevas (like Suprabhata Seva, Thomala Seva) using their passport for streamlined access.
  • Stay Nearby: Book accommodation in advance at Tirumala or Tirupati, as rooms fill quickly during peak seasons.
  • Transport: TTD buses and jeeps are available from Tirupati to Tirumala; private taxis can be booked from Chennai/Bangalore.
