A divine destination where Lord Venkateswara Swamy descended from Vaikuntam to bless devotees. Venkatadri, one of the seven hills, is revered as a heavenly realm on Earth. Pilgrims believe that no deity in the past or future equals the grace of Sri Venkateswara, who manifests when sincerely pleaded for.

Must-Visit Spiritual Spots in Tirumala

1. Swamy Pushkarini

A sacred lake beside the temple, believed to cleanse sins and purify the soul.

2. Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple

Located opposite the main temple. Hanuman is worshipped here, with legends linking the site to his first meeting with Lord Rama.

3. Akkagarla Temple

Seen during the footpath journey from Alipiri. The deities are believed to possess healing powers, especially during rainfall.

4. Silathoranam

A 2.5-million-year-old natural rock arch resembling a serpent hood and conch. It’s believed to match the height of the main deity.

5. Srivaari Paadalu

Located on Narayanagiri Hills, this site marks where the Lord first set foot on Tirumala. Devotees climb ~300 steps to offer prayers to His divine footprints.

6. Sri Varaha Swamy Temple

Situated north of the main temple, on the banks of Pushkarini. Devotees worship Varaha Swamy before entering the sanctum of Sri Venkateswara.
