The sacred month of July 2025 is filled with divine celebrations at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati. Devotees can participate in a series of spiritually enriching rituals and vibrant processions honoring Lord Rama, Sita Devi, and Lakshmana.

Festival Schedule Highlights

Saturdays – July 5, 12, 19, 26

  • 6:00 AM – Abhishekam to the Moola Murthis of Sri Sita, Rama, and Lakshmana.
  • 5:00 PM – Procession of Utsava Murthis (Sri Rama and Sita Devi) along the four Mada Streets, followed by Unjal Seva (swing ritual) in the temple.

July 10 – Pournami (Full Moon Day)

  • 8:30 AM – Astottara Kalasa Abhishekam to the deities.
  • 5:30 PM – Tiruchi Procession of Sri Rama, Sita, and Lakshmana.

July 16 – Anivara Asthanam

  • Annual temple administrative ritual marking the beginning of the new accounting year.

July 19 to 22 – Pavitrotsavams

  • July 19 – Ankurarpanam (seed sowing ritual).
  • July 20–22 – Pavitrotsavam ceremonies for purification and divine appeasement.

July 24 – Punarvasu Nakshatram & Amavasya

  • 7:00 AM – Sahasra Kalasha Abhishekam (ritual with 1000 sacred pots).
  • 11:00 AM – Sri Sita-Rama Kalyanam (celestial wedding).
  • 7:00 PM – Hanumantha Vahanam procession of Sri Rama.
