     and perform puja of new account books (Chopda Pujan).
- Devotees offer prayers to Lord
     Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi for wealth, wisdom, and well-being.
- Families exchange sweets to
     symbolize sweetened relationships.
- Charity
     is encouraged—donating food, clothes, or essentials to the needy is
     considered highly meritorious.
