annual Navaratri festival in Kerala is a grand cultural and spiritual
celebration, marked by the traditional procession of deities from Tamil Nadu to
Thiruvananthapuram. This centuries-old tradition symbolizes unity, devotion,
and the rich heritage of Travancore.

at Sree Krishna Swamy Temple, Neyyattinkara
- October 11:
Reaches Navaratri Mandapam, Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (6:30 pm)
Installation
of Deities
From
October 12 to 21, the deities will be installed for the 10-day Navaratri
puja:

Government
Arrangements
- Security
& Medical Support: Kerala Police, Fire &
Rescue Services, Health Department teams, and ambulances will accompany
the procession.
- Transport:
KSRTC to operate 65 special services, including routes from
Bengaluru, Mysuru, and Chennai.
- Restrictions:
DJ programmes banned; strict rules on captive elephant management.
- Infrastructure:
Road repairs expedited by PWD and Corporation authorities.
- Coordination:
District Collector and Rural SP appointed as coordinators.
