Ksheerarama Temple,
located in Palakollu of West Godavari district, Andhra Pradesh, is one of the
revered Pancharama Kshetras dedicated to Lord Shiva. Known for its
spiritual aura and architectural beauty, the temple becomes the center of
devotion during the annual Brahmotsavam, celebrated with grandeur and
deep faith.
In 2026, the Brahmotsavam
will commence on March 27, bringing together devotees from across the
region to witness rituals, processions, and divine festivities.

Palakollu is well connected by road. Regular APSRTC buses and private transport operate from Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Eluru, and Bhimavaram. From Bhimavaram, it’s about 15 km; from Rajahmundry, around 90 km. Autos and taxis are easily available within Palakollu to reach the temple. - By Rail:
The nearest railway station is Palakollu Railway Station, just 2 km from the temple. It is part of the Vijayawada–Narsapur line and connects to major junctions like Vijayawada and Rajahmundry. - By Air:
The closest airport is Rajahmundry Airport (approx. 85 km). For international travelers, Vijayawada Airport (approx. 120 km) offers better connectivity. From the airport, taxis and buses are available to Palakollu.
