The Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam at Sri Kapileswara
Swamy Temple in Tirupati on February 4 is a deeply symbolic ritual of
purification, performed just before the grand annual Brahmotsavams (February
8–17). On this day, darshan timings for devotees will be 8 a.m.–11 a.m.
and 3 p.m.–8 p.m., as the temple undergoes cleansing and sanctification.
Significance of Sri Kapileswara Swamy

named after him, and the sacred tank is called Kapila Theertham.
