Location

Dhundheshwar Mahadev Temple is located in the Mahakal Van area of Ujjain, close to the sacred Kshipra River.
It is the third shrine (03/84) in the revered 84 Mahadev temples circuit.
Pilgrims usually visit it immediately after Agastyeshwar Mahadev (01/84) and Guheshwar Mahadev (02/84).

Deity

The presiding deity is Lord Shiva, worshipped here as Dhundheshwar Mahadev.
The Shivalinga is considered ancient and powerful, symbolizing Shiva’s role as the remover of obstacles and sins.
