What is the Virtual-Q?

• Managed by Travancore Devaswom Board (TDB).
• Ensures crowd control during peak pilgrimage season.
• Provides time-slotted darshan tickets and accommodation booking.
• Spot bookings are limited (currently capped at 5,000 per day), so online booking is strongly advised.

How to Book Darshan Online

1.     Visit Official Portal: sabarimalaonline.org.

2.     Login / Register: Create an account with mobile number & email.

3.     Select Darshan Option: Choose Virtual-Q Darshan.

4.     Pick Date & Time Slot: Availability shown in real-time.

5.     Enter Pilgrim Details: Name, age, gender, ID proof (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID).

6.     Confirm & Download Ticket: Carry printed/digital copy + original ID proof.

Accommodation Booking

• Rooms and lodges near Nilakkal, Pampa, and Sannidhanam can be booked online.
• Options range from basic dormitories to guest houses.
• Booking steps are similar: select Accommodation, choose date/location, enter details, pay online, and download allotment slip.

Important Guidelines

• Plastic Ban: Carrying plastic bottles, sachets, and wraps in Irumudi is strictly prohibited.
• Dress Code: Traditional black/blue attire with mala (beads) is customary.
• Vratham Rules: Pilgrims are expected to observe 41-day austerity before visiting.
• Reporting Time: Arrive at Nilakkal/Pampa at least 2–3 hours before your slot.
• Spot Booking: Available only at Nilakkal and Vandiperiyar counters; suspended at other centers.

• Book darshan + accommodation together for convenience.
• Plan early during Mandala Pooja (Nov–Dec) and Makaravilakku (Jan) seasons.
