• According to legend, Draupadi was the first to observe this vrat during the Pandavas’ exile.
• Lord Brahma granted a boon to Vayu Deva that devotees observing Hanuman Vratham would achieve success, peace, and prosperity.
• The vrat was taught by Sage Ved Vyasa to King Yudhishthira and explained by Lord Krishna to Draupadi.
