Poleramma Thalli Temple,

powerful village shrine dedicated to Goddess Poleramma, revered as the Grama
Devata (village guardian deity). This temple is deeply rooted in local

smallpox, and village welfare. She is believed to safeguard the

guardian during festivals.

- Poleramma is considered a pre-Vedic
folk deity, often worshipped in the form of a stone or mud idol
placed outside village boundaries.
- According to legend, she was born
from seven drops of water taken by Goddess Parvati from a sacred
lake, giving rise to the seven sisters: Poleramma, Ankamma, Mutyalamma,
Pochamma, Bangaramma, Maramma, and Yellamma.
