Vishwakarma Puja – Honoring the Divine Architect of the Universe
Vishwakarma Day,
also known as Vishwakarma Jayanti, is a sacred festival dedicated to Lord
Vishwakarma, the celestial architect and engineer of the gods. Revered as
the Devashilpi (Architect of the Gods) and the Divine Carpenter,
his name appears in the Rig Veda as the embodiment of creative power and
craftsmanship.

Celebrated annually on Kanya
Sankranti, typically falling on September 16 or 17, Vishwakarma Puja
is also observed in some regions on the day after Diwali, especially in Bihar,
Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Odisha.

- Tool Veneration:
     Machinery and tools are cleaned and worshipped—often not used during the
     day.
- Prasadam Distribution:
     Sweets and fruits are offered and shared among all participants.
- No Work Day:
     Many units remain closed to honor the divine creator and seek blessings
     for safety and success
