Sri Ramanavami Utsavams 2026 at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati

 

The sacred Sri Ramanavami Utsavams will be celebrated with grandeur at the Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple, Tirupati from March 27 to April 1, 2026. Devotees can witness a series of divine rituals, celestial processions, and spiritual festivities honoring Lord Sri Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Anjaneya Swamy.

Festival Schedule

March 27 – Sri Ramanavami

  • Morning: Abhishekam to the presiding deities.
  • 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Snapana Tirumanjanam for the utsava deities of Sri Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, and Anjaneya.
  • 3:00 PM: Sri Ramanavami Asthanam celebrated with grandeur.
  • 7:00 PM: Lord Sri Rama blesses devotees on the Hanumantha Vahanam along the temple Mada streets.

March 28 – Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam

  • Morning: Abhishekam to the utsava deities.
  • 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM: Mutyala Talambralu procession on an elephant from the TTD Administrative Building to the temple.
  • 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM: The divine Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam.
    • Participation fee: ₹1000/-
    • Devotees receive Uttariyam, Ravike, and Laddu prasadam.

March 29 – Sri Rama Pattabhishekam

  • 8:00 AM: Sacred water brought from Sri Narasimha Teertham with temple honors.
  • Morning: Chaturdasha Kalasha Snapana Tirumanjanam.
  • 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM: Sri Rama Pattabhishekam.
  • Evening Procession:
    • Sri Sita Rama Lakshmana on the golden Tiruchi.
    • Sri Anjaneya Swamy on a special Tiruchi.

March 30 – April 1 – Teppotsavams

  • Morning (8:00 AM – 9:30 AM): Snapana Tirumanjanam.
  • Evening (7:00 PM – 8:30 PM): Lord Sri Rama blesses devotees seated on the float at Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini.
    • Day 1: Circumambulation – 5 rounds.
    • Day 2: Circumambulation – 7 rounds.
    • Day 3: Circumambulation – 9 rounds.
